PILAR, Bataan- Congressman Albert “Abet” Garcia of Bataan
Second District has turned over P 400 thousand worth of computer packages and audiovisual equipment to Pablo Roman Memorial
High School last Friday March 17.
With the ceremonial release of white and red balloons
by Garcia and School Principal Fanny De Roxas, IT equipment, air conditioner and television, were turned over to PRMHS amid
cheers and applause of parents, teachers and students.
In his message, Garcia said
students should possess the competitive edge in facing the cutthroat competitions of the real world. “Dapat nakahanda
ang mga estudyante na humarap sa hamon ng buhay na may kakayahan tulad ng sa IT technology”.
The young solon also urged them to be responsible youths and good citizens of the country.
Garcia, in his continued support to PRMHS, pledged to donate more IT equipment to the school. “Magbibigay pa ako ng
karagdadagang equipment para sa PRMHS upang mas marami pang estudyante ang makinabang.”
In the earlier part of the program, Governor Enrique “Tet” Garcia, Mayor Charlie Pizarro and De Roxas joined Parish
Priest Ernie De Leon in the blessing of 2 new school buildings of PRMHS.
The young
Garcia is being noted for his commitment to the development of education in the province. He chipped in the amount of P 10
million from his congressional funds for the college scholarship program, and donated computer sets to Bataan National High
